My Callsign!

Hey. guys... Remember, back then i was having problem with giving myself callsign aka nickname?? Well, I am named, shocker. Shocker was the most voted by my squadron ppl and the nick is given by a clerk George, sort of grateful for him to give this name. The nominated names given are: current, voltage, ample, J2 and Java.

, was 29 voted against others 0 vote. Ya, U r right, the nicks all involved in the same family "electric Power". The ppl relate me to electricity as I was electrocuted in June, and since then I'm always refer as that family name.

QNS.. Wat a callsign? Callsign is something like nickname, wat ppl call u, instead of ur name.

Me the Cursed Child on Qing Ming..

Qing Ming.. hmm.. don't really understand what the true meaning of it, and how was it originated. If I'm not wrong, I been to the tomb once only (Fm my grandma:shamed on you!). Since young I was not given a chance to learn or introduce to qing ming(a lot of other chinese festive too). My only impression to qing ming is praying and offering to god and ancestor with incense, and foods like soup, roast duck, chicken, cha siew and pork. At the same time, it is when I would meet my extended families, my parents and sibling.

This morning was qing ming, but I overslept. In my personal context, qing ming was insignificant to me and u should know y. (To be frank, I was taking my own time to prepare myself, reluctant ;p). Then again am I wrong? - I am say to be the "curse child" in e family, thus the eldest had never allows me to attend event like this. Despite having strong explaination, I couldn't find anyone tt agree on my actions.
Here my reply, folk: "I am who I am, you can't change this concrete fact since the day I'm born. If you thot of changing my attitude? Forget it. Same, I have never expect u all to change ur attitude toward (I have long given up hope too, as I am used to it). No one could appease all people, and it is hard too, to change ones to like another person. Therefore, I never carry any expectation tt thing would change. And I could reassure u, I would nv does any wayanging to please anyone, so I would carry on as a nuisance(curse child).

Hi.. not been updating recently, partly because of my tight schedule and no inspiration on writing.. Well.. currently I'm now at PLAB FSS, again that not confirmed as I am under assessment, confirmation of posting would only be known next week.

To be frank, I wish I could stay on la. As I can't afford myself to be posted to flying squadron for the reasons.. 1st it is too far into the airbase, and afriad i can't walk that far. 2nd I couldn't do that much of night shift or late doing work, as i got commitment to my family. 3rd till I want more challenging jobs.

I hope tt god heard my praying.. Allowed me to stay on.. or bless tt i'm posted to a unit which fulfill those conditions of mine..

The One Day...

It was an year that over soon.. Like most Co. would end their financial yr in march. Me too, ending it with appreciation and grudges. I'm not a total saints, couldn't fully does this "Forgive and Forget", only promise to do my best.

2004 wasn't tt a year, nevertheless that part n parcel of life. A path, everyone walks. I consider myself lucky, that I have a grp of wonderful friends.

My appreciation to alot of people.

Mr Tang Koon Teck, my lecturer and second marker, who had persistently providing advise and sharing his experience leading me on my rightful path. Not only so, giving his fullest encouragement to me. Making my graduation come true.

Shanlin - A pal, whom always chk on me if i die liao, when I fall sick and the period of my sis death. She been such a great friend.

Vincent Ng - friend whom had walked me through the period of my shock, my death of my sister. Accompany through the darkness. Showing me the beam of light in the darkness.

Andy, Yixin, Junyan, Dennis, Joanne and 01T21 - This ppl had do me a great help doing my FYP period. They had constantly encourage me when I was shock b the death of my sis. I couldn't even continue with my FYP back then, and deleted 30% of what I had accomplish. In order to ensure I get back to situation, they put their night in school or their place to accompany me. Thank Pal.

Being in Singapore most of my lifetime.. Today I felt a totaal stranger to this tropical land, walking along this long desserted road by me. I always refuse to passby the street on wkend n public holiday. But today, I forgotten, walking down the street tonite. Not long from where I started, a sudden felt of uncomfort hit from my spine to my nerve, my mind was whispering to me "You dun belong here, go away." But I insist.

I got no idea, and y am I afraid of human side statue. (No offence) Esp to India temple's statue. The temple was along the street, I dare not took a second glare at it, very fast I walk away.

That road, I felt so alone, and foreign. It seem I was the only "one" there surrounded by all the unfamiliar environment.

Early..

This morning wake quite early, 8.30 am. It was a pretty unusual day for me to wake at such an early timing on a Saturday. Nope.. I din went to the market, in fact I went to BT Batok for haircut, appointment at 10 am. Though I was late again.

After my haircut, I met up with Yvonne passing her a book, 11.00 am.




Then in the afternoon, meet up with Hualian, Nam and his friend to catch the film, Son of the mask. I must say, tt was a silly show. Din really enjoy it, it beginning was dry, and story developed in very brief style with not much of ingredient. Only toward the last part, would you then see some favor. My judge out of 5 stars: 2 stars.

After the show, met up with an old friend, whom long not been contacting.. so meet up, same time pass him a book.

What a start for the week!

I thot it gonna be e usual Monday, wake up in the morning prepare for morning brief, follow by break then slack til lunch. Continue slacking after lunch til dinner.. But no.. is not the same, with a call that changed the story..

It happened like this... Morning, sergent S (S.S) was looking for Private J(P.J), as he had yet to take his practical 8 where others did. S.S was assessing final assessment, while trying to locate P.J, but no one answered to her phone. Then she thot he must be swimming.. or ZZZZZ (both not allowed). And conincidently, our Standing-In RSM was in the rm and running out of patience, he called for fall in, in 5 mins time..

So, 4 who were in the rm called all of us. 5, including me, in the library. And 7 in the bunk resting.

All came.. but P.J and his company were not. waited n waited 2 mins.. At Last.. the final 2 came in (grp a) with a reason, went for smoking break(liar.. tt was obviously known by everyone in tt rm), in fact not only those 2 were in the bunk slping, but the other 5 (grp b) too (guess e ARSM knew abt it too). In the end, A-RSM said: "I would recommend to OC tt there no nite off for wed."


Argument, between who should be blamed started after we left the room.

Grp A, said why none of us went up to their bunk to knock on the door, when S.S was looking for P.J and when A-RSM asked to fall in. And added, those in the rm should had called GRP B to knock on GRP A door.

Grp B, Ask why din u two answered the phone or be prepared?

Grp A, replied who would on the phone when they are aslp..

Well.. this didn't come to and end.. even till today 17/Mar/05.

My own view to this, was two parties was in fault but to different weightage. Of coz, P.J should all in all be responsible.

Pt 1 = Dun be Irresponsible.. You should know U had not took his practical and should be in standby mode, and shall not went to slp. Or at least, be more alert, on ur handphone.

Pt 2 = Dun be selfish.. All 7 of you who went to the bunk to rest together. It just take 1 out 5 to do a simple chk to went those who happened not to be awake... is it difficult??

Pt 3 = Clean ur own SHIT.. For goodness sake u ur no longer a child.

Tommy specialise in blowing instrument - snore.. Alvin specialise in per-cast-ion (dunnoe how ti spell) - banging his head against the metal wardrobe and YK, he play hmm... sax hmm perhap he the lead ba.. coz he would spk in his tongue language (dunnoe if his dreaming, hang3 bean2 >> Hokkien).. Then me.. one sheep over the wall.. two sheeps over the wall... san zhi mian yang.. n..n...n..n.... sorry hor dun work.. dun see z coming into the story...

Sigh.. I not sure I suffered from insomnia or wat..I coudldn't get to slp.. Thinking, if it happen again this wk.. I will seek for medication help liao... Initially... I thot it got to do with me resting in the evening after my duty, tt y i couldn't slp in nite.. but not the case. So i thot it could be me not doing exercise.. hmm no.. not this too.. then the orchestra.. so moved to another bunk, hmm.. still no.. y leh..

Hey ppl! First of all, I'm wishing you guys Happy Lunar New Year, and may your year be fulfilling as ever, then may all your wishes come true. ">

Well today, third of the new year and I had catch 3 movies. A movie a day, First day >> I do I do. Second day >> Seoul Raider and third day >> Constantine. I had a reason to catch all these movies. I will share with you guys....

Can't remember when does it happened, the feeling of enthusiam and excitment of cny started to fade and dying. I dun had any special feeling toward cny, it become any other simple days. No special formulas to it. Juz simply 1+1=2. No appealing feeling, No looking forward. Juz that..

The 1st day of cny, for the first time in my life I go visiting without a personal transport, first time appearing in public transport(so duhz). Arrived at my granny place.. I felt uncomfortable, a place that seem so stranger to me, a place doesn't belong to me, a place when I sat at any places any spot make me felt ("oops i shouldn't be there, What happened?"). Then all my cousin arrive, my first thought:"ow!! All seem grown up..(more strangers!!)" I had no topic to start, juz so unlike me, couldn't socialize with them.. Thing turn after shanlin called me for movie, decided to watch I do I do.

2nd day, went to my granny's place again. Can't escape from traditional practice which said:"All family members are to return home for reunion lunch on the second day of cny!..ill!! we ain't any more wealth off family, well not dropped this crap for sake good.!" Suffered again..can't get all my step right, even why holding firm with my chopstick. But it soon end, Darrell called for movie "Soeul Raider".. And I asked him to meet earlier @ 15.00 instead of the original timimg @ 19.00 hrs. After the movie met up with shanlin, wendy and their friend freddy @ J8 in cafe cartel, sat there chitchat tok cok.

3rd day.. Well this is the only day I enjoyed most... Woke Up late at 11.30am.. After washing up.. play ard with my guitar practicing my new learned skill. And set off to my friend place in the afternoon.. After which went to my old friend's place, Sharon. Suppose to had steamboat her place, but becoz she can't buy fresh seafood from market, we a simple dinner over her place. I did gamble. Paiseh ppl tt I won all ur coins!! Hehee.. Tell u all not much of money la.. but can paid off my tix to constantine with HL, gene, pris, nam,chong, hai and Suhui @ PS.

Basically, these my days.. Dun really wish to go my granny's place again.. Althought there isn't any serious agrument or quarell took place over tt two days.. But I still felt uneasy being there("my thought only, if any of my relative of mine read this.") P.S if you think you can change my thot, pls leave ur comments behind.

Enjoyed myself alot today, went for high tea buffet @ tiffany cafe in furama hotel with HL, Nam, Ed, Yong, Hai, Gene, Senfa and Ernest. To be frank, the food wasn't tt up to my expectation and it cost 18 dollars per person (should had went for our dim sum).

Wowow.. Chinatown is so PACKED... Ren Shan Ren Hai.. Chuan Liu Bu Xi.. Chun Bu Nan Xing... N N N N... Geez ya ya it is tt crowded(oie oie you add too much salt liao la). oops!! hehee.. was walking on the street of trenggaru to smith street shopping along the stall.. then tt stupid HL n ED always walk into the VCD shop... Hey we r there for chinese new yrs goodies... I din buy anything from the stall, noeing that my mum would buy a lot >> y focked out money myself.. Me:" My shoes lan liao!, Can we go shopping for shoes.. Die Die i am getting a pair today.. If not i no new shoes for new yr." Again... those grp.. took such a long time to decide where to go and how to go!. Here:"walk leh la" there:"share cab" everywhere:" go cityhall, bugis.. bus .. walk.. simlim.. dun walk la.. so far.. save money walk... HEY STOP IT!"

We ended up walking fr Chinatown to City Hall.. Hahaa.. And I got my fondest shoes there.. and is a new arrival shoes.. (Sianz in camp.. cannot gif a shot of my shoes. Is a promise, when i bk out i would upload it) e shoes very "liang"! It din took me long to choose.. Well.. after doing shopping in City Hall.. we procceed to sim lim sq... then bugis.. Well again (y it is always this ending? ^*%&!@#^*)..it wasn't quite happening liao.. coz we was like passbyer of those area.. The grp din really shop there lo.. juz like playing monoploy.. touched n go... Hello guys.. can you all at least do some shopping.. take a look on the stuff? Gene I noe u are frustrated with them. but wat to do. You knew them since sec 2.. hahaa..
